Branding, custom lettering and print design are the mainstays of my work, but I also strive to push lettering into mediums that are off-screen and can be a part of your daily life.

Thy Doan is an independent designer and letterer currently based in Boston. She was born and raised in California and graduated in 2007 from Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo with a BFA in Art & Design. While her first gig out of school landed her in Salt Lake City, at a small multi-disciplinary design studio, her love of hand-lettering developed while working as a chalkboard/sign artist at Whole Foods Market. In 2012, she began working for Infinite Scale as a Designer, where she broadened her branding and design muscles in the world of environmental graphic design, with a studio focus on sports, venues and events. She has been working independently since the fall of 2013 and recently relocated to the Boston area.
